How does it work

Produced via a patented extraction method that PRESERVES intact 23 limonoides in the neem seed. These limonoides, control a broad spectrum of Insects and Nematodes. The modes of action for NEEM-X  are:

1) Block the synthesis of the hormone Ecdyson produced by two prothoracic glands located in the thorax, preventing  molting during metamorphosis (egg, larva or nymph, pupa and adult), causing the death of Insects and Nematodes.

2) Paralysis of the chewing mouthparts.

3) Stops the feeding mechanism.

4) Repellent effects.

Pest Resistance

Insect or nematode resistance has not been reported during more than 70 years of using the active ingredient of NEEM-X in the field.

Frecuency of Application

NEEM-X can be used in the same frequency as other insecticides in a Pest Management Program (every 5-7 Days).

Compatibility Neem-X

Can be used in tank mixes with other chemical pesticides, such as Insecticides, Fungicides, Herbicides, Plant Growth Regulators, Foliar Fertilizers, etc.  It is important to maintain the pH of the spray water at pH range of 4.5-5.5. It is recommended to use PH-PLUS (water softener and acidifier) in combination or NEEM-X to assure quality and softened spray water.

NEEM-X  and  Spray Water Quality

To improve and maximize the Insecticidal and Nematicide performance of NEEM-X, it is recommended to add first PH-PLUS to the mixing tanks to improve the quality of the spraying water solution. PH-PLUS reduces the pH ( 4.5-5.5 ) and softens  (neutralizing carbonate salts) the spraying water solution. Water Alkalinity and Hardness will make Natural Limonoides Biologically Inactive. Ref : ph Plus, EEUU.
